Edmonton Gospel Temple was incorporated in the province of Alberta in 1946. We are an evangelical, outward reaching, missionary minded church with a strong commitment to preaching and teaching the Bible as foundational for living. We are a congregational church with our roots in the Pentecostal movement.
In 1996, Edmonton Gospel Temple received official documentation registering a name change of Richfield Christian Fellowship.
Richfield Christian Fellowship is a local, self-governing autonomous assembly extending and appreciating fellowship with churches of similar beliefs and practices including cooperative affiliation with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada.
In Our Church
RCF is a multicultural church with a passion for people. Our desire is to serve people and our community with the hope and love found in God. Our church is open to all.
In Our Community
Our mission is to not only meet the needs of those who attend RCF, but use the resources we are given to serve our community. We desire to be a place of hope, light, acceptance and love to those within our neighborhood. Families, children, newcomers to Canada, low income, and other members of our society are important to us.
We offer a wide range of services and activities for the community, including Make Tax Time Pay (low income tax preparation), activities for young people, children and families, and other benevolent activities to help the less fortunate in our community.
In Our World
We recognize that we live in a wonderful, prosperous, and blessed country. It is our desire to share in some small way the goodness of God and Canada with the rest of the world. We have partnerships with organizations and people who are either in or go to Brazil, Ghana, Mozambique, Arab nations, and Myanmar to serve the local people.
